1. What is a mate?

A mate is the person hiring the bareboat or chartering a vessel with a Master.

2. What licence do I need?

To hire and operate a bareboat rental you require only a recreational boating licence or PWC issued by your local State or Territory.

If you require more information regarding licences for the area you wish to hire then please contact your local State or Territory authority.

3. What happens if there is bad weather?

In case of inclement whether or other unforeseen reason a charter or bareboat rental cannot proceed you need to check each listing for their terms and conditions.

4. How do I cancel a booking?

To cancel a booking you will need to contact the boat owner via the marketplace and request a refund.  Please refer to their cancellation policy as described in their ad.  If you have an issues let MatesBoat™ know at info@matesboat.com.au.

5. What fees do I pay?
